A purple hippopotamus went to the store one day. "Hello."  Said the purple hippopotamus. The people stared. He walked into the grocery section. "Hello."  Said the purple hippopotamus. The people stared. He perused the cereal isle. "Hello."  Said the purple hippopotamus. "Why aren't you wearing any pants?" The little girl asked. "Oh."  The purple hippopotamus looked down at his pantless bottom. "Oops." He selected a box of lucky charms, then walked to the checkout line.
White flowers Golden mellow sun Porch shadows A tree's leaves shun it's bald crown Pine soldiers stand in sunlight
Plant so comfortable Sits in brown pot The green ears dangle
Knowing not If the end is true I live not But for the morning heavans And bitterly distilled dew
Thin, long light Stretches skeletally To brush between pines
I am me Me I am And I like  Green eggs and ham
Scissors are for cutting off peoples feet.
All around Darkness crept visibly Cogent and coagulated Under and through the trees Overhead Clouds flickered and slid As nature tipped it's hand And fled
Life sometimes brings you down What's more,               Sometimes it sinks you Hopefully,             If we stick around We'll have someone to cling to
Change is coming Like a locomotive over a bridge It shakes the frame It whistles Long and loud and peircing Disrupting the night air
